What it Achieves
SYNERGY school radio projects can be used to address a wide-range of key aims within schools making every individual project different in one school from the next.
There are four key areas of benefit, which apply to all schools:
Communication - Addresses issues through a new medium that speaks in a language that pupils, parents and teachers can understand and relate to.
Attainment - Develops core-skills, enlivens curricular subjects for various learning styles and implements positive changes in behaviour within specialist groups.
Ethos - Differentiates schools with a project that empowers pupils to liaise with teachers and the community contributing to the school body.
Enterprise - A practical demonstration of enterprise in education as an in-house business, acting as a focus to create links with local/national businesses and to raise sponsorship and the profile of the school.
